10% of the final mark for grade 12 students is based on their sketchbook- the ideas and research they present, and the quality and experimentation 0f their drawings. Although there was a bit of procrastination by some, the overall results were expressive and critically thought out.

Mystery Solved
The grade 9/10 class has been busy solving the mystery of how to create a sculptural shoe. These sculptures presented great challenges in critical thinking and problem solving. As you can see, the students rose to the challenge.

Grade 9 Painting: Gourds
A generous member of the community dropped off three large bags of dried gourds for us to use. The student's assignment was to create a design that incorporated a Canadian aboriginal object/animal and a pattern, creating a three-dimensional object, rather than a two-dimensional surface. The results were truly unique and generated discussion from other classes and visitors.
